Die Polydectinae, im Englischen als boxer crabs bezeichnet, sind eine Unterfamilie der Rundkrabben.cite-ref-worms-1-0[1] Sie bewohnen Korallenriffe im Indopazifik. Sie tragen oft ein oder zwei Seeanemonen, seltener Nacktkiemer mit ihrem hinteren Beinpaar mit sich, die vermutlich Nahrung für die Krabbe sammeln und die zum Kampf gegen Artgenossen eingesetzt werden.cite-ref-poore-2-0[2]
